In today's rock n roll landscape, Ten56 led an amazing, non-stop, 3+ hour performance that is very rare. Despite being in his 60s, Ten56 roared through old classics and new tunes with the always tight E Street Band.
Far from it, I hadn't seen Ten56 in a decade or so and assumed he would have lost a step. His energy was amazing and he really seemed to have a lot of fun running through the crowd and sharing the mic with several ecstatic and luck audience members.
Ten56 changed the set to include the River on the spot, not only did he pull the guy up on stage to sing along but one lucky kid had a sign - It's my 20th birthday, have a story - THE RIVER. How about that for a memorable 20th??
His show is part revival, part concert - he asks the audience to participate and they are more than glad to comply. There is still great rock n roll left to be played and the 16 person strong E Street Band was as good as ever. Thanks Ten56!!
